Mascarada

Mascarada is a Spanish Psych-Rock duo local to Los Angeles. The member, Shawn Grindle and Leana Courtney, are both lovely, good-hearted personalities, and their music is conspicuously passionate and experimental. Their songs are lyrically playful, with corresponding music that will often jump cleverly between stylistic influences. 

HAUS Music's relationship began with Mascarada at its conception, when Shawn approached me to produce their forthcoming self-titled debut record Mascarada (Ind. 2017). I had experience working with Shawn on The Mosaics' music, but it was fascinating to witness his difference in approach on a project that he had much more creative freedom with. I also had such an excellent time developing a working relationship with Leana who is incredibly musical, and was an invaluable contributor at every stage of the process.
