The Absurd

The Absurd is a Rock band and power-trio local to Los Angeles. Their music is ballsy and irreverent, with lyricism that is often pensive. Their songs raise existential concerns about the loneliness inherent in our possibly meaningless existence; although, their music seems to stand in opposition to that, and grounds their voice by loudly and proudly proclaiming their purpose.

HAUS Music's relationship with The Absurd began with an introduction from Greg Gilman. We began work on their Motherless Child EP (Ind. 2016), and found a particularly good chemistry in approach. They are an excellent troupe of misfits, who can always be trusted to ask a host of interesting questions.
